LOS ANGELES – Cal State L.A. Golden Eagles tennis won their second consecutive duals match by defeating Sonoma State on Saturday afternoon at the Cal State L.A. Tennis Complex. The Golden Eagles improve to 2-2 overall, 2-1 in the CCAA Conference.
After sweeping the doubles matches, the Golden Eagles took to the court for individual competition.  
Krishana De Silva, 
Rona Miller, 
Jennifer Avila, and 
Bojana Ducanovic easily outplayed their opponents, each won in straight sets.  
The Golden Eagles had clinched duals victory over the Seawolves with 
Isis Jackson and 
Michele Maduz still in the midst of their grueling matches.  Jackson defeated Laura Robertson, 6-4, 7-6 (2) before Maduz dropped a closely fought battle with Raquel Gottfried, 7-6 (7-5), 8-7 (7).
Cal State L.A. tennis returns to action on Tuesday, February 20, for duals action against The Master's College at 2 p.m. at the CSULA Tennis Complex.
